Why partner with Terrence Higgins Trust?

Text

In 1982, we were the first charity in the UK to be set up in response to the HIV epidemic. For over 40 years, we’ve been at the forefront of the fight against HIV, delivering life-saving services and ensuring HIV does not hold anyone back.

When you partner with us, you're joining a movement that's changing lives and making history. We work with organisations of all sizes, from local businesses to global brands, to create partnerships that deliver real impact for your organisation and people affected by HIV.

1. Lead on diversity and inclusion

HIV affects people from all backgrounds. Partnering with us demonstrates genuine commitment to D&I, LGBT+ inclusion, and health equity – causes your employees and customers care about.

2. Engage and energise your team

From Pride marches, challenge events and mixers to workplace speakers and HIV testing, we offer opportunities that bring your people together with purpose.

3. Be part of history

We have committed to ending new HIV cases by 2030. Your partnership puts you at the heart of a once-in-a-generation public health goal.

We (VodafoneThree) marched with Terrence Higgins Trust in London Pride last year, which was a real Pride season highlight for all of our employees who attended. On a personal note, being surrounded by other LGBTQ+ people was extremely energising and reminded me of how much joy there is in being queer and being allowed to celebrate that. There was a real sense of purpose, an understanding of why we were all there (to support the LGBTQ+ community, and to stand against HIV misinformation), and it was inspiring to meet and connect with people who spend their days making a positive difference to all queer people, not just those within the walls of our workplaces.

How you can work with us

Text

Our corporate partners are crucial in helping us reach our 2030 goal of ending new HIV cases in the UK.

Charity of the year

Make Terrence Higgins Trust your chosen charity and bring your whole organisation together around our cause. We’ll work with you to create a bespoke partnership plan, provide a dedicated contact, and support you with materials, speakers, and ideas throughout the year.

Employee fundraising and challenges

From bake sales to marathons, your team can fundraise in ways that suit them. We’ll provide toolkits, branded materials, and plenty of encouragement, whether it’s a sponsored walk, a quiz night, or something more adventurous.

Brand partnerships and cause marketing

Align your brand with ours through product collaborations, on-pack donations, or co-branded campaigns. We’ve worked with partners from retail to hospitality, to creating campaigns that resonate with customers, increase sales and drive real impact.

Payroll Giving (donate from salary)

One of the simplest ways for your employees to support us. Donations come straight from their salary before tax, so giving costs less than you’d think. Many employers match these gifts too, turning small contributions into something bigger.

Moment-in-the-calendar activations

Mark World AIDS Day, Pride or Black History Month with a talk from one of our Positive Voices speakers. Our speakers use their personal stories to help people learn about HIV and challenge stigma around the virus. Through paying for a talk, you are also paying forward, enabling us to deliver another session in a school, charity or public service.

Strategic and policy partnerships

For organisations wanting to go deeper, we offer partnerships focused on policy, or sector-wide change. This might include shaping workplace health policies or collaborating on advocacy campaigns. These partnerships are tailored to shared goals and built for long-term impact.

Corporate volunteering and skills-based support

Support us through direct donations, matched giving, or by sharing your team’s expertise. For example, our Work and Skills programme is often looking for mentors for people living with HIV returning to work or entering the workplace.

What your support can do for us

Text

Your support enables us to be here for everyone who needs us.

£10 could support someone living with HIV to attend an employability workshop.

£15 could cover the cost of an HIV self-test kit.

£15 could fund a person living with HIV to attend a volunteer placement to build skills and confidence.

£80 could help provide vital counselling sessions.

£100 could host monthly Expert Live Talks for members of My Community.
