Tomasz Schafernaker is a broadcaster and meteorologist for the BBC as well as a self-taught artist whose work is heavily influenced by his scientific background in meteorology. Born in Poland, he grew up in both London and Gdańsk. As an artist, he has explored a broad range of styles from hyperrealism to an interest in more expressive forms, with his depictions of weather phenomena often evident.
