Our counsellors are passionate about helping people feel heard, understood and supported. They provide a compassionate, non-judgemental environment where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind.
Once you have registered and completed your application form, you will be assigned a counsellor who best meets your needs. Our counselling team has a mixture of qualified staff and volunteer counsellors, and trainee counsellors who are in advanced stages of their training.
Together, you'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, exploring the challenges you're facing and finding ways forward.
Quote textI am a Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity therapist, with training in relationship therapy, psychosexual counselling and trauma therapy. I am an integrative therapist and I incorporate psychodynamic, systemic and emotion focused theories to work with individuals, couples and other relationship configurations.
As an LGBTQIA affirmative counsellor I have lots of experience of working with trans, non binary and gender diverse clients and alternative relationship models. I love working at Terrence Higgins Trust because supporting individuals living with, and at risk of, HIV is very meaningful to me.
Quote textMy primary experience is in working with, but not limited to, people struggling with addictions. My approach is collaborative, and I aim to help empower the people I work with, to take positive and affirmative actions towards rebuilding their lives.
I use mindfulness based tools and other therapeutic approaches, to hopefully facilitate change, in a warm and empathic manner.
