The More Than A Ribbon Challenge is a fundraising campaign in support of Terrence Higgins Trust and World AIDS Day on 1 December. Set yourself a fundraising target of £250 and complete a challenge of your choice in the lead up to World AIDS Day.
How do I take part?
Simply register your challenge, set up an Enthuse fundraising page and start fundraising. You can take part on your own or with friends, family or colleagues.
What kind of challenge can I do?
Your challenge can be anything you like. You could host a coffee morning, organise a bake sale, walk 25 miles throughout November, complete a step challenge, learn a new skill, sell unwanted items, or create your own challenge based around the number 25.
Do I have to do something physical?
Not at all. While some supporters choose active challenges, many take part through fundraising events, online activities, selling unwanted items, or lifestyle challenges.
Is there a registration fee?
No. Taking part in the More Than A Ribbon £250 Challenge is completely free.
When does the challenge take place?
You can complete your challenge at any time in the lead up to World AIDS Day on 1 December. Many supporters choose to take part throughout November.
Can I take part as a team?
Yes. We encourage workplaces, community groups, schools and friends to take part together. You can either create a team fundraising page or support each other's individual fundraising efforts.
How will the money I raise help?
The money you raise will help Terrence Higgins Trust continue its work to end new HIV cases in the UK by 2030, support people living with HIV, and improve sexual health services and information.
Will I receive any fundraising materials?
Yes. Once you've signed up, we'll provide tips, resources and fundraising ideas to help you reach your target.
Is there a reward for taking part?
Yes. If you raise £50 on your Enthuse page, you can choose to receive a free Terrence Higgins Trust t-shirt.
If you raise £250 or more and complete your challenge, you can also choose to receive a thank you certificate and a World AIDS Day enamel red ribbon pin badge.
All rewards are optional, so if you'd prefer not to receive any of these items, simply let us know on your registration form or email [email protected].
When will I receive my rewards?
Once you've reached the relevant fundraising milestone, we'll contact you with details of how to claim your reward. If you'd prefer not to receive any rewards, simply let us know.
What if I raise more than £250?
That's fantastic! Every extra pound helps support our work. There is no fundraising limit, so we encourage you to raise as much as you can.

You can create an Enthuse page in just a few minutes when you register your challenge. Once set up, share the link with your friends, family and colleagues and let them know why you're supporting Terrence Higgins Trust.
