How do I get one?
Set up a monthly regular gift and we'll send you a PrEP keyring as our thank you. It takes about two minutes to set up.
Can I get one with a one-off donation?
No, sorry. The PrEP keyring is only available to supporters who make a regular donation. Regular gifts help us plan ahead and ensure services like the THT Direct helpline are staffed and available whenever people need them. The keyring is our way of saying thank you for that ongoing commitment. One-off donations are hugely appreciated and you can give one here. They just don't come with a keyring.
What can I keep in it?
Whatever you take regularly, including PrEP or HIV medication. It's built for anything you take daily or on a schedule and don't want to be caught without.
Is it discreet?
Yes. It looks like a keyring, because it is one. Nothing on the outside hints at what's inside, and the only branding is the Terrence Higgins Trust logo on the side of the case. You can also choose a plain design too.
How much does it hold?
Around 2 standard tablets, depending on their size and shape. The case has a screw-top seal to keep water and dirt out.
Will summer heat affect my medication?
Most medication is happiest below 25°C. A keyring left on a car dashboard in August will sail past that.
Keep it on you or in the shade rather than in direct sun for hours. Only fill it with a few days' worth and leave the rest in its original packaging with the leaflet.
If you're travelling somewhere hot, your pharmacist is the person to ask. They get this question all the time and they won't ask why.
Where do you deliver, and how long will it take?
UK addresses only, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. We can't ship internationally at the moment. Your keyring should arrive within 5-10 working days of setting up your gift and will be sent second class in plain packaging, with nothing on the outside to identify us.
It hasn't arrived, or it's damaged. What now?
Email [email protected] with the name and postcode on your gift and we'll send a replacement.
Can I change or cancel my regular gift?
You can change or cancel your regular gift at anytime. Email [email protected] or call 020 7812 1612 and we'll change the amount, pause it or stop it, whatever suits.
What does my gift actually pay for?
Your gift helps us do our vital work, including providing free HIV testing, supporting people who've just been diagnosed, our THT Direct helpline, and campaigning to end new HIV cases in the UK by 2030 and end the stigma that still surrounds HIV.
