Terrence Higgins Trust’s highly anticipated annual auction returns to Christie’s London on 25 March 2026. It brings together an exceptional selection of artworks and luxury experiences to raise vital funds to help support people living with HIV and end new HIV cases in the UK.  All lots can be viewed and bid on The Auction Collective website, opening the event to collectors across the globe.

This year’s headline lot is a remarkable work by internationally acclaimed artist Raqib Shaw.
‘Nowadays, I am able to greet beauty (butterfly version)’, is an intricate and hallucinatory composition crafted in acrylic liner, enamel, graphite and rhinestones on paper. The work exemplifies the fantastical visual language that has made Shaw one of the most celebrated contemporary artists of his generation.

Born in Kolkata and based in London since 1998, Shaw rose to prominence after his breakthrough 2004 solo exhibition Garden of Earthly Delights at Victoria Miro Gallery. His work has since been exhibited at major institutions including Tate Britain and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, placing him firmly among the most distinctive voices in contemporary art.

Alongside Shaw’s work, the auction features more than 70 extraordinary lots, including contributions from leading artists and iconic international luxury venues. Other standout artworks include a soft-ground etching by Howard Hodgkin, one of Britain’s most beloved painters and printmakers, and a recent mixed-media wall sculpture by Natalia Kapchuk from her celebrated series, The Lost Planet.

Luxury experiences include a two-night stay in St Regis Florence, with the chance to get an exclusive tour of the Ferragamo Museum by a member of the Ferragamo family.

Alongside this, The Live Auction will take place at Christie’s on Wednesday 25 March, with 16 carefully selected lots offered by the auctioneer to special guests in the room. Please note that the live auction is by invitation only. However, you can still take part by submitting bids online in advance.

There is no buyer’s fee for either the Online or Live Auction, so every bid goes further in supporting our work. We encourage you to register for both and to bid generously.

Dominic Edwardes, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Terrence Higgins Trust, said:
'This auction is more than a celebration of art: it is a catalyst for change. Every bid helps us get closer to a future where there are no new HIV cases in the UK, where everyone living with HIV gets the support they need and HIV stigma has been ended.'

Lal Dalamal, Co-Chair of The Auction Committee, said:
'Art has an extraordinary ability to open minds and inspire action. We are thrilled to present such an exceptional lineup this year, led by the magnificent contribution from Raqib Shaw. The commitment shown by artists and supporters reflects the passion behind our mission, and we cannot wait to see the impact this year’s auction will have.'
