Supporters across the UK are grabbing their hair clippers this Thursday and taking on our World AIDS Day Big Shave Off to raise vital funds for people impacted by HIV.
The money raised will help us work towards ending new cases of HIV by 2030, support people living with HIV and promote good sexual health for all.
Dylan is one of our supporters who is braving the shave. He is living with HIV and is undetectable – meaning he can’t pass the virus on thanks to effective treatment.

'Terrence Higgins Trust has meant so much to me since I was diagnosed in December 2019,' said Dylan. 'The stigma around living with HIV is still common and without raising awareness and educating the public, there will be no end to this.
'I’ll be taking part in the Big Shave Off on Thursday 1 December and shaving my head to raise vital funds to help Terrence Higgins Trust. I know that the money raised will help to break the stigma and help end new transmissions in the UK by 2030.
'I live a perfectly healthy and happy life and have super-supportive friends and family, along with a loving partner of two and a half years.'
If you'd like to join Dylan by taking part in the Big Shave Off, you don't need to do it on World AIDS Day itself. To take part, just sign up using our form, ask friends and family to sponsor you, and then shave your head, chest, legs or beard on the date of your choice!
