Across Teesside and in partnership, the 4 local authorities of Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton have collaboratively commissioned a new HIV Prevention and Support Service with Terrence Higgins Trust. This new 12-month pilot replaces the previous contracts held with Terrence Higgins Trust across Teesside.

Alongside contributing to the improvement of sexual health outcomes for Teesside residents and reducing HIV transmission and late-stage diagnosis, the service will work with residents living with HIV, including people newly diagnosed, lost to treatment and those living well. The new service will also develop and support a Peer Reference Group.

THT Teesside no longer provides testing clinics. However the team will be happy to provide information on your options to test for HIV and STIs, so please do not hesitate to get in touch. Alternatively, full information on your testing options is available from Teesside Together.
