Last year, over 14,000 people donned their finest tartan to raise funds for charity and we’d love for you to join us this year as part of Team Terry!

The Kiltwalk Dundee is the first event of the year, and we couldn’t be more excited to get our kilts on. It’s a fantastic day out, whether you're walking solo or with family, friends — even your furry companions!

The exact details for 2026 are being confirmed by the event organisers. Please see below for last year's routes and distances as an example of what will be available.

There’s a distance to suit everyone:

The Wee Wander

Start line: Broughty Castle Museum
Route: Along the River Tay (most accessible route as it's all cycle path)
Finish line: Dundee city centre
Distance: 5.5 miles

The Mighty Stride

Start line: St Andrews
Route: Coastal views
Finish line: Dundee city centre
Distance: 21.5 miles

There’s no minimum fundraising commitment – we simply ask you to raise what you can.

While we encourage everyone to fundraise, there’s no pressure - we simply ask that you consider whether you're confident in reaching your target before signing up.

If sponsorship targets aren't reached, it can impact our ability to continue our vital work at Terrence Higgins Trust. It can even leave us out of pocket, as we pay a certain amount for each event space.

With every step you take, during training and race day, you'll be doing something amazing for people affected by HIV. 

Your support and fundraising help fund vital services including our one-of-a-kind sexual health helpline, HIV testing, counselling, and peer support programmes.

We are working to ensure that there will be no new HIV cases in the UK by 2030. Everyone living with HIV will be diagnosed, in treatment and care, free from stigma and able to take advantage of life’s opportunities.
